Marchese Custom Cycling Shoes incorporate many of the unique materials and construction
techniques of our legendary custom speedskates and have been proven in the
World Championships and won Pan-American and World Cup Championships.
Contrary to the typical standard shoe or custom shoe which uses an “idealized”
shape of the foot to create a foot “last” in which to construct the shoe,
Marchese Racing utilizes a casting of the individual’s foot to mold and laminate the entire shoe
upper and composite sole simultaneously to achieve an unequalled fit and seamless
joining of all materials. Our proprietary process yeilds a true monocoque composite
wrapping of the foot, eliminating common delamination problems encountered by other
shoes when simply glueing a separate sole and shoe upper together.
The result is a perfectly contoured foot bed with a form fitting
leather and mesh upper trimming 1/3 to 1/2 the weight off a typical shoe.
Our construction also yeilds an extremely low profile foot bed, bringing
your foot as much as 10mm closer to the pedal spindle compared to standard shoes.
We can incorporate different strap closure, ventilation, and sole stiffness configurations
to suit any riding style.
Any clipless pedal cleat system can be adapted to the shoes as well,
(or cleat and straps for track riders) completing your custom package.
